The Application Process

Who Can Apply?

 
  • Open to all Malaysian undergraduates, fresh graduates who completed their Bachelor’s degree within the past year, and Pre-University students from local and international universities/colleges with an interest in sustainability, innovation, and industry trends.
  • No prior knowledge is required to participate—just bring your curiosity and passion to learn!
  • Priority is given to first-time participants, with a stronger focus on final-year students and fresh graduates.

How to Apply? 

CV/Resume

  • A CV that clearly elaborates relevant skills and/or experiences under professional development and extracurricular activities.

Personal Statement and Competency-Based Assessment

  • Applicants will respond to scenario-based questions to demonstrate their soft skills (e.g., problem-solving, crisis management, etc.).
  • Applicants will answer theme-related questions focused on sustainability.

Video Submission (optional)

  • What they hope to learn from the firm visit
  • What aspects of this year’s firm visit caught their attention
  • What questions they would like answered during the firm visit
  • A brief response to a given prompt, designed as a simplified version of the Grand Challenge prompt, to understand their perspective and gather fresh ideas
Applicants will also be required to indicate their industry preferences within the three subthemes:
  1. AI-driven sustainability
  2. Sustainable financial empowerment
  3. Sustainability-driven strategy
 

Selection Process

   Applications will be evaluated based on merit, relevant skills and experiences demonstrated in their application. The four components (Resume/CV, Situational and Judgement Test, Personal Written Statement, and Video Submission) will contribute to a total score of 100%.  Applicants must achieve a minimum raw score of 60% to be considered for selection.
